As of October 2004 the Viola Gopher Count is a 501c3 tax-exempt
organization. This IRS designation allows us the ability to provide the
needed paperwork for a donation to be a tax deduction for your group or
business. We are sincerely thankful to those who have supported our
event in recent years. These donations help to offset the cost of our
event and allow Gopher Count to support local high school scholarship
programs, the
townhall roofing project, and improvements to park shelters and
playground equipment. In the coming years we will hopefully provide
improved plumbing/toilet facilities in the townhall. The Viola Gopher
